Governor Samuel Ortom has on behalf of the Government and people of Benue State, commiserated with the family of the late All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship candidate in last Saturday’s election in Kogi State, Prince Abubakar Audu, who passed on yesterday.
Governor Ortom equally sympathises with the APC family in the country and Kogi State in particular over what he describes as irreparable loss.
He says the late Prince Audu was a development-oriented man who was committed to selfless service and was loved by his people as shown in the results of previous elections and last Saturday’s polls so far announced.
Governor Ortom says the late Prince Abubakar Audu who served meritoriously as finance commissioner in the old Benue State was an astute progressive throughout his political career.
He prays God to accord the soul of Prince Abubakar Audu eternal rest and grant his immediate family, the APC and all Nigerians the fortitude to bear the loss.
