Minister of State, Industry, Trade and Investment, Chief Dr. Samuel Ortom who aspires to be Governor of Benue State in 2015 on PDP ticket yesterday presented a new wheelchair to 23 year old Terzungwe Usaka.
The young man who hails from Vandeikya local government area was seen with a sticker of Ortom for Governor on his old wheelchair along Abu King Shuluwa road in Makurdi.
When interviewed he said he believed that if elected Governor Chief Dr Ortom would tackle unemployment on a larger scale as he had already done through the Oracle conglomerate.
When the Minister saw the picture of his supporter on an old wheelchair he promised to give him a new one.
Making the presentation at the residence of Chief Simon Shango in Makurdi after a meeting with his council of elders’ advisory committee the minister asked the young man his other challenges and he said he wanted to be a shoe maker and also needed a room in which to live.
