Governor Samuel Ortom has charged leaders in the country to always employ justice, equity and fairness as their watch word.
He gave the charge today at the Benue Peoples House Makurdi during a courtesy call on him by Prophet Isa El-Buba of Ebomi Ministries, Jos in Plateau State.
The Governor stated that he believes in one united Nigeria and would continue to speak for the voiceless as well as stand for the truth.
He noted that he stands for ranching of livestock and would not be intimidated for any reason, saying he believed God for a glorious end to the numerous challenges confronting the state.
Governor Ortom appreciated the man of God for his words of encouragement to him and people of the state, stressing that he was further strengthened by his words.
In his address, Prophet El-Buba said Benue was being invaded with a view to taking over the rights of the people, noting that men and women of goodwill needed to speak out.
He stated that Benue was in God’s prophetic agenda to liberate Nigeria and urged Ortom not to waver, noting that over eighty per cent of Nigerians were behind him.
Prophet El-Buba urged the righteous to rise up and defend their own in his trying moments just the way the wicked do when one of them faces challenges, saying the grace of God would continue to abide in the Governor and his family members as well as lieutenants.
