They lined up the road from Abinsi junction to Agasha to receive their son, Chief Dr Samuel Ortom last Sunday.
The multitude of people who turned out at the hall of the School of Health Technology Agasha was amazing. Yet those who stood outside far outnumbered those within.
These were Nongov people. The Jukun’s from Abinsi also came in solidarity as the Minister of State, Industry, Trade, and Investment, came to brief his people about his successful statewide consultations on his governorship aspiration on the platform of the PDP.
All who spoke after the minister had informed them that he received massive support across the state were unanimous that the aspirant has total support of his people.
They said Chief Dr Samuel Ortom had been their good ambassador over the years and gave him their endorsement and prayers for a successful race.
Chief Dr Ortom hails from Nzorov council ward of Guma local government area of Benue State.
Other wards in Nongov are Kaambe and Saghev.
