It has become pertinent for me to make a categorical statement on the persistent attempts by members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP social media team to sow a seed of discord between the Special Adviser, Media and ICT, Mr. Tahav Agerzua and me. One of such examples is the Facebook post this evening by Bem Jabez Ordedoo MO.
I wish to put it on record that there is no division of any kind between Mr. Agerzua and me and I implore those peddling the mischief to desist henceforth.
It may interest the opposition social media members to know that I have enjoyed a robust and highly professional working relationship with Agerzua. He is one of the best professionals in the media industry whom I have worked with in my career. I regard Tahav as a senior colleague, friend and an elder brother. His years of experience have no doubt rubbed positively on our job as the Governor’s media team.
Similar camaraderie exists between other members of the media team and me. We have no internal squabbles. Our one and only goal is to disseminate information about activities of the hard-working and God-fearing Governor, Samuel Ortom and that we have so far done diligently as a united group.
I will not fail to state that I do not need or solicit the support PDP social media team members appear to be giving me. My loyalty is unflinching and will remain 100% to Governor Samuel Ortom and his administration. I also do not need the praises, applause or empathy of the opposition. They should keep their support and drum it for those who work for their party. I work for the government put in place by the All Progressives Congress, APC, and so far, it is so good for Benue State.
Governor Samuel Ortom is performing creditably to the admiration of the local and international communities and as long as I work for him, I will support him with every bit of professional skill and energy in me.
So help me God.
Chief Press Secretary.
