Chief Executive Officer of Pleasure Travels Transport Company, Mr Paul Ubwa, accompanied by his wife, Josephine, has donated a 14 – seater bus to governorship aspirant in Benue State, Chief Dr Samuel Ortom.
Making the presentation at the Makurdi residence of the former Minister of State, Industry, Trade, and Investment, Mr Ubwa said the gesture was a token of his contribution to the governorship project as a mark of his confidence in the aspirant.
He said as a transporter he identified with Chief Dr Ortom on account of his humble beginning in the park, fear of God, and determination to succeed in all his undertakings.
Mr. Ubwa said he had also placed his workshop at the disposal of the aspirant and urged him to take his vehicles there for repairs.
The donor stated that he also attached one of his drivers to the bus to serve on it throughout the duration of the campaign.
Receiving the vehicle, Chief Dr Ortom, who was accompanied by his wife, Eunice, and campaign adviser, Mr Terwase Orbunde, expressed appreciation for the gift and pledged to use it judiciously.
He said Mr Ubwa had sown on good soil and prayed that God would reward him.
