Online Bloggers that voted on the Benue Rebirth’s forum’s website in April, May and June 2014 chose Dr. Samuel Ortom as the man that has contributed most to the development of the state ahead of several others in the Benue Governorship race.
The bloggers expressed their opinion in response to the question: “who has made the greatest contribution to the development of Benue State among the under listed?”
The question lasted on BRF’s website during April and May so as to allow participants make informed decision for the online voting.
The results released by the forum which can also be verified online showed that Dr. Ortom came top out of 30 governorship aspirants.
The BRF website also set a poll for the month of June which centered on the desired unity of the state.
The question read “Who among the underlisted has the capacity to unite Benue people so as to achieve the much desired development in Benue State?”
Dr. Ortom scored 24% to top the poll which was fairly competed while 27 other aspirants shared the remaining percentage with the second highest getting nine per cent.

The organization has urged the general public to actively participate in the online voting in order to give their voice on the emergence of the next leader who will govern Benue State from 2015.
