Last Friday voters in various communities including Kar Mem, Bambam, Lowcost, Modern Market and Ankpa road junctions as well as Ipusu people resident in Makurdi hosted the All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship candidate in Benue State, Chief Dr Samuel Ortom, and his entourage.
They assured him that they would vote for change come March 28 and April 11, 2015.
Chief Dr Ortom pledged to implement the APC manifesto of free and compulsory primary and secondary education in order to lay a solid foundation for youths as well as take those educated but unemployed off the streets through his socio-economic package that includes industrialization intended to create massive jobs, wealth and opportunities.
He said he would also boost commercial and trading activities and attract investment into the state by creating a conducive environment for such to thrive.
