Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Terver Akase says his Principal will continue to do the wishes of his people despite challenges.
He spoke today in his office at the Benue Peoples House Makurdi when he received the leadership of ‘Comfort Abaa Political Network’ for Ortom on a courtesy call.
Mr. Akase said Governor Ortom is committed to ensuring justice for Benue people and would continue to do what would make the state proud.
He said Governor Ortom had recently at a public function in Abuja, reaffirmed the position of Benue people concerning the ranching law, stressing that anything outside that has no place in the state.
While thanking the Political Group for being selfless on its decision to rally support for Governor Ortom without any sponsorship, the Chief Press Secretary charged its members to keep faith with the Governor and they would never be disappointed.
In her remark, Founder of the Political Network, Dr. Comfort Abaa said they were in the Chief Press Secretary’s office to declare support for his Principal, Governor Ortom and to assure him of their readiness to rally round him to actualise his second mandate.
She described Governor Ortom as a Leader to reckon with as many of his administration’s efforts in the last few years had brought the State to limelight, citing the open grazing prohibition and ranches establishment law 2017 among others.
