Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom, has urged the people who do know God to seek him and those who have forgotten him to return so that it will be well with them.
He spoke at the funeral of the late Mama Salome Agada, mother of Famous Adejo Agada, in Ogene-Ogugu in Olamaboro, Kogi State today.
Governor Ortom stated that since he came to the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ in 1979 things have changed for the better for him adding that God’s promise to bless those who worship Him in truth was available to all.

He enjoined the people to make the wise choice of accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and savior while alive so that they could spend eternity with Him when they die.
The Governor said the passage of the deceased was a thing of joy because she was a believer adding that her contribution to the society remains in the children and other legacies she has left behind.
He described one of her children, Famous, who he said he has mentored and seen grow as an intelligent, loyal and committed aide whose commitment compelled him to make all efforts to leave Abuja last night return so that he could pay last respects.
In his funeral sermon, Reverend Jonathan Asikai of the All Nations Evangelism Ministries who read from Hebrews 9: 27 and 28 enjoined Christians to make peace with God and accept Jesus Christ so as to survive the judgment that would come after death.
Mr. Famous Adejoh Adama, first son of the deceased expressed appreciation to all who turned up to pay last respects to the deceased.
