On the way to Abuja this afternoon, I received a message from a retired civil servant who resides in Konshisha local government area of the state.
Read the message below:
“The joy we are experiencing is overwhelming, we were branded “MBAKPENEV” (dead people). His Excellency, Governor Samuel Ortom has revived & rebranded the retirees of Benue state. My brother this 2nd alert is an unexpected development, I couldn’t hide my joy.”
After reading the text, I said silently, ‘thank You God for the grace and wisdom given the Governor to solve knotty issues.’
I assured the pensioner that things will soon get even better.
