The ranks of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Benue State continued to swell yesterday at the expense of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, when three former Gboko council chairmen and seven other chieftains of the party led hundreds who dump the party for the APC.
The former chairmen, Messrs Isaac Angbande, Ioryue Yajir, and Nahan Zenda, with Daniel Iorsalem, Francis Aveir, Teghtegh Ashim, Lawrence Amua, Isaac Abeeku, Godwin Kuhwa and Barrister Terwase Gbasha publicly renounced PDP membership at the J S Tarka Stadium in Gboko where they also joined the APC.
APC governorship candidate in Benue State, Chief Dr Samuel Ortom, Senator Dr George Akume, represented by his wife, Chief Mrs Regina Akume, member of the House of Representatives for Gboko / Tarka, Dr John Dyegh, and several chieftains of the party received them.
